Who We Are
Growth Together Organization Inc. is a registered non-profit organisation based in the Philippines. We were founded with one clear purpose: to make sure that a child's future is not determined by the circumstances of their birth.
Through the Adopt a Child initiative, we connect generous donors — in the Philippines and worldwide — with vulnerable children who need support for education, nutrition, and basic welfare. Donors don't just give money; they invest in a child's future and receive verified updates on the impact of their support.
Every child profile is reviewed and approved by our local qualified coordinators. Every donation is tracked and reported. Every impact story is verified before it goes public. This is not a promise — it is our process.
Our Purpose
Our primary purpose is to unite individuals with a shared passion for philanthropy and charitable giving, empowering them to make a positive impact on the world. Through our organization, members come together to support various causes and charitable initiatives, pooling their resources, time, and expertise to address pressing social issues and improve the lives of those in need.

Joerina Africa
In-Ground Coordinator
Joerina Africa, Sierra's older sister, is the in-ground coordinator of Growth Together Organization, Inc. She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Education from De La Salle Lipa, where she studied through a scholarship while serving as a student assistant in different school offices. Balancing work and studies shaped her strong sense of responsibility and deepened her passion for helping students succeed.
Now a teacher at Rizal Integrated National High School, Joerina witnesses firsthand the challenges many students face. She also serves as the coordinator of the school's Project HANDS (Helping and Nurturing Disadvantaged Students), and through its partnership with Growth Together, real and meaningful support has already been extended to many learners.
Joerina plays a vital role in bringing the organization's programs to life. She coordinates closely with teachers and the school principal in screening and selecting scholars, oversees the implementation of support initiatives, and helps ensure that everything runs well for the benefit of the students.
Our Founders
Growth Together Organization, Inc. was founded by husband and wife, Ferenc Dobos and Sierra Africa, whose shared belief in the power of education became the heart of the organization.
Sierra Africa & Ferenc Dobos
Co-Founders
Sierra grew up in the Philippines in a family of seven. She spent her early years with her aunt, who helped support her elementary education, before returning to live with her family when her aunt worked abroad. Her mother was a housewife and her father worked as a driver. Despite financial hardships, she pursued her studies with determination and graduated Cum Laude through the help of various scholarships, most notably through the Foundation for Sharing Lasallian Education (FSLE). Through the FSLE program, she was blessed with a benefactor whose support helped make her college education possible. Those experiences deeply shaped her desire to one day give back and help students in the same way.
Ferenc, originally from Hungary, was raised in a family that deeply valued education. His mother is a doctor and his father is an engineer, and from an early age he was taught the importance of learning, discipline, and opportunity. Although his family came from a middle-class background, he also received a scholarship during his university years based on his academic performance. That experience gave him his own appreciation for how education and encouragement can open doors.
Knowing how deeply Sierra cared about giving back, Ferenc encouraged her to turn that long-held dream into something real. From that shared vision, Growth Together Organization, Inc. was born. Their first project, Adopt-A-Child, began at Rizal Integrated National High School, Sierra's high school alma mater, making the mission even more personal and meaningful.

Financial Transparency
60% of every donation goes directly to the children — covering school supplies, weekly allowance, and uniforms. 10% is held as a contingency reserve, earmarked for programme use but kept available should a monthly sponsor lapse or bridging be needed. Up to 30% is allocated to operational costs such as fees, salaries, coordination, and administration. Annual financial reports and programme outcome reports are available to donors upon request.
